IDEAL AT MIDDLE EAST ENERGY 2023

IDEAL Electrical showcases popular connectors and electrical lubricant perfect for hot, dry climates at Middle East Energy 2023

IDEAL Electrical has recently returned from the Middle East Energy 2023 exhibition, held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 7-9 March, where the company’s versatile connectors and installation supplies were on show.

The exhibition proved a huge success for IDEAL Electrical, with visitors particularly interested in demonstrations of IDEAL Yellow 77® Wire Pulling Lubricant. With a wax-based formula, Yellow 77 is the perfect general purpose lube; it is safe to use with most cable types and clings to cable throughout long pulls. With no mixing required, the lubricant remains stable in high temperatures of 32°F to 130°F (0°C to 54°C).

Visitors were also keen to find out more about the Gen II Lever Wire Connectors, which can accommodate multiple wires of different sizes. Utilising the latest connection technology, the connectors offer a fast, simple and cost-effective alternative to terminal strips, allowing contractors to save time and money on site whilst achieving easier, more consistent terminations.

Brett Smyth, General Manager of IDEAL Electrical EMEA, says, “At IDEAL Electrical we understand the pressures of tight programmes, challenging site environments and high quality expectations, and our range in the Middle East has been tailored to respond to those market characteristics.

“Our Yellow 77 electrical lubricant is ideal for the long cable pulls typical in Middle East construction and performs well in the hot dry climate, while our Lever Wire Connectors provide an efficient and low cost alternative to terminal strips. Designed to aid speed and consistency of installations, these products are typical of those sought by the Middle East market so we were delighted to see them prove so popular at Middle East Energy.

“It was fantastic to meet so many people and we look forward to building on the excellent relationships and opportunities identified at the exhibition.”
