They feature permanently bonded double insulated handles that allow for quick safety checks - if the inner yellow surface shows through the high-visibility orange outer coating, it’s time to replace the tool. Non-slip textured handles are designed for maximum leverage, and provide an ergonomic grip for superior control. For added safety, the grips have integrated finger guards to help reduce the risk of accidental contact with exposed metal parts. Constructed from high carbon steel, which is known for exceptional durability, they feature precision stripping holes for accurate stripping of 10-18 AWG solid and 12-20 AWG stranded wire, and a narrow, plier nose that facilitates twisting and holding wires even in hard-to-reach places. Built to withstand the toughest job site conditions, this impact-resistant tool meets ASTM F1505-01 and IEC 60 900 standards, complies with OSHA 1910.335 regulations and NFPA 70E standards, and is UL and VDE classified and certified.
